Dinner Time (open)

[Raina]

Raina sighed. Today was a looooong day. She had to rescue a wermple in Xato forest, then retrive a stollen TM from a shroomish in the same place, then find some gummys for a young pichu that she had dropped in Coral Cove, then cut don some apples for the dinner tonight for Wigglytuff. She was exausted.

The smell of freshly cut apples (that she had gotten) and berries, and other foods found her nose and her stomach growled. She didnt realize she was so hungery. She made her way into the busy room and took a seat at the huge wooden table. Her strange blue eyes serched the room for any of her friends.

There was Shinx, though he had left the Guild; and then Ponyta, she was always the wild one of the group; and Butterfree, she never missed out on dinner; and Haunter, he loved pulling pranks. She sighed with happiness when the food was brought out and she started eating hungerly.

[Riley]

"I'm late, I'm late, late!" the Totodile muttered as he sped down the hall, slidding to a stop at the end. It was dinner time, and he was late. As usual. He didn't know he would keep wanting to fall asleep every time he came home, but that was him, and he couldn't help it. Wigglytuff never minded, though. It was only Chatot who got angry, though the bird never seemed to punish him for it. The other Pokemon had already started to eat when he arrived, and he gave a sigh of relief. "That was close," he whispered, stepping forward to find a seat.

A few muffeled hellos were given to himas he walked down one side of the table, his eyes searching for an empty seat. Every single one seemed to be filled, and that there was no where else for him to sit. Was this right? He was confused, and hungry, too. He had two missions today, and he was very busy. He couldn't even eat lunch because of it. He sighed, pausing in one place as he looked around. And then he saw it - an empty chair next to a Leafeon. Wasn't that the one that he and Swellow found a couple weeks ago? The other Pokemon said she was crzy, though he thought that to be a disbelief.

"Excuse me?" he siad, walking up to the empty chair and looking up to the Leafeon. "But may I sit here? I couldn't find anywhere else to go."

[Raina]

Raina was just starting on eating an apple when someone started to talk to her. She turned and saw a totodile who seamed to be slightly winded. Did he just run here? Raina smiled and nodded. "Of course you may."

She looked him over with her blue eyes. Where had she seen him before? Dispite the fact that she met plenty of Totodiles and other pokemon, she always seamed to know one from the other. A strange talent she had noticed a short while back."I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but where do I know you from besides here?" she asked indicating the Guild.

[Riley]

"Thank you," he said with a smile, quickly getting into a chair. He was just about to pick up an apple when the Leafeon spoke to him again. "Any place other than this?" he repeated in a question, a confused look on his face. "Hmm.....," he wondered, trying to think. He picked up an apple sub-consiouly, grasping it in his hand tightly. He couldn't think of anywhere else he could've met the Leafeon except when he and Swellow and his partner Seedot were out exploring sum two or so weeks ago.

They had been in Xato Forest, at the Mystic Waterfall looking for some berries to eat that night. Seedot had wondered off in order ro find some coconuts, and that's when Riley and Swellow found some injured Leafeon. They had taken her back to the guild, though, other than that, no, he really hadn't seen her anywhere.

"Not unless you count me an' my friends findin' you," he told her, taking a big bite into the apple he was holding. You could see the seeds, the bit was so big. A few ended up falling silently onto the table, no one seeming to notice.

[Raina]

Raina blinked. She did remember slightly of waking up for a few seconds when some pokemon were huddled over her, asking if she was alright. One of them was blue, he remembered that and the more she thought about it, the more it made sence. "So you were one of the pokemon who found me...Thank you." she dipped her head and took a bite of her apple. It was sweet, crunchy, and perfect.

When she finished her apple she turned to the totodile again. "I'm sure you probably know already, but my name is Raina." she introduced herself. One of her leaf ears twitched as a loud group of growlith laughed at a joke and a beedrill buzzed into the room, talking with a Pidgey. She was always aware of her suroundings. Better safe than sorry, though she didnt knwo what she would be sorry about exactly.

[Riley]

Riley smiled. He'd always liked being thanked, though that usualy meant a job well done for him. Guess saving Raina was a job well dodne, huh?

"Well your welcome, Raina," he told her. Quickly he took the last bit of his apple, piccking up an Oran Berry to eat next. "My name's Riley."

Around him, he could hear the other Pokemon chatting while they ate their meal. They never really talked to him much during this period of time, only to have him confirm something or to say hello if they heard he was having a bad day. Or to pass something. Either way, it was for something/ Wigglytuff usually only talked to him during meal time, mainly because Riley had no other place to sit and Wigglytuff wanted to be kind to the little Totodile. Riley smiled, eatting the Oran Berry whole. Hey, he had a big mouth. So why not use it for a purpose other than fighting?

[Raina]

Raina smiled. "Nice to meet you Riley!" Her long leaf-like tail wagged a couple times. He seamed like a nice pokemon. Well he did save her from near death. Raina wondered what would hav happned if he hadn't had found her that day.

She shook her head of those thoughts and pickd up a peacha berry. She loved Peacha berries. So sweet and...well...sweet! She took a bite and let the flavor fill her mouth. She then chewed it happily. A couple of pokemon passed by and said Hi to Raina. She nodded a Hello back since her mouth was full.

[Riley]

Riley smiled slightly as he gulped down a few more Oran Berries, reaching for the Rawst Berries. Some Pokemon said they were too spicy, but he thought they were just right. Which is why a few Pokemon shoved him some when they noticed he started eating them. He didn't know what was wrong with them. They seemed just fine to him, really. He enjoyed them a lot. He sat silently eatting, though his brain was twitching, telling him, to talk to that Leafeon Raina again. She didn't seem to have very many friends. And frankly, neither did Riley. He just hung out with the other Pokemon because he had nothing to do. They all admitted that he was a great fighter, and was fun to bring along when in a mission. But they never invited him to join their team. That made him sad sometimes. But somehow, he always cheered up when he went by him self.

"Sooo.......," Riley said, gulping down another Rawst Berry, "do you have your own team yet?" He knew that would've been a stupied question. Of course, anyone who was here had a Rescue Team. Though a few Pokemon - like him self - weren't fully qualified for a team, so they just went by them selves because they couldn't create one.

Riley was one of those few, unfortantly.

[Raina]

Raina gulped down a few more bites of her peacha berry when she noticed Riley gulping down some rawst berries. Leafeon only liked two kinds of berries. Sweet and spicy. The total oposites. But she liked how she could eat one when she wanted to be calm and one when she wanted more of a kick to her food. She ate a rawst berry before answering "Kinda. See I started one but my first partner left to become an adventurer. Im now left with no one to be partner. And since im I guess weird, no one wants to join my team. Iend up going alone alot." she said kind of sadly.

[Riley]

"Really?"

He ended up pausing in the middle of chewing up a Rawst Verry when he heard her words. How sad. She didn't have a partner for her team because her first one left and no one would join it now. He didn't exactly have a Rescue Team, but he still went on missions like any other Pokemon. He remembered having to go with other Pokemon when he was younger to learn the ropes of how it went, though he only went with other Pokemon now if it were to get food for the Guild or if it were a really tough mission and they needed another memeber to help them out. Riley just went on his own, though. He mainly went on his own, though, because everyone else had a team already, and he didn't want to create a Rescue Team on his own. Though plenty of Pokemon thought he was strong enough to be by him self. He still missed the company, though...

"Well, you can't be that weird," Riley said, gulping down the last of the Rawst Berry. "I mean, techinaclly, everyone's weird in their own way." He picked up an Oran Berry, putting it into his mouth. "I don't really have a Rescue Team, if you wanna know," he said, chomping the berry into little bites and swollowing it. "I usually go by my self all the time. I kinda miss the company of when I was younger."

[Raina]

Raina thought or a minute. If Riley wasnt part of a rescue team, would he ever want to be? She debated long and hard before answering him. "Say if someone offered you to be in their rescue team...would you accept?" she asked, picking up another apple and bitting into it.

[Riley]

He was practically in the middle of bitting an Oran Berry when Raina spoke, making him freeze slightly, blinking. Would he accept? He never really thought of it until now. He was so used to going by him self that he never really thought of what he would say if someone asked him to join their team. But then again, was Raina asking him to join her team, but in some sort of code? He was never good at these things, always being a bit young and absent minded. So all he kenw to do was play along.

"I guess," he said, swallowing the rest of the Oran Berry. "It depends if they're nice, though. I won't help mean people."

[Raina]

Raina chuckled. He really was a dence pokemon, but she continued. "Alright so a nice pokemon. What about a pokemon whos name starts with R and is a grass type?" she asked with an amused smile. She hoped this would spark his interest. He seamed like the good partner type pokemon. She pushed the rest of her rawst berries to Riley as chimecho came to pick up any empty plates.

[Riley]

He blinked when Raina gave him the rest of her Rawst Berries. Maybe she just didn't like the taste. He always liked them, though not that many other Pokemon did. He smiled, though, looking to Raina again.

"I would defitantly say yes," he said, picking up a Rawst Berry. "Especailly if we had fun on missions." What? Fun was, well, fun.

Wasn't it?

[Raina]

Raina smiled widely. "Fun is the most of anything on a mission! Besides the rescue and bla bla bla." she laughed and put out her paw. "Then welcome to Team Eternal. Pokemon in the group...two." she chuckled. As Riley took her paw in his claw Raina turned her head twards a sound that she loved. More food. and not just any food. "GOLD GUMMIES!!" her blue eyes widened as she saw her favorite treat.
